John Carrigy is the founder of Foundation Dental Services and heads up the FDS team of highly trained and experienced dental professionals. John graduated with honours - Bachelor of Dental Surgery - from Sydney University. He later enrolled in the Dental Masters Program at Melbourne University and graduated with a specialist degree (MDSc) in Periodontics.

John also achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel (LtCol) during his years of service with the Australian Army and is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA); the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) and the Australian & New Zealand Academy of Periodontists (ANZAP). In addition to this John is very active with the local dental community in a continuing education role – both as a speaker and also by volunteering his time to serve in an executive capacity on a number of dental study club boards.
Foundation Dental Services was established in 1997 and now provides support to over 80 general practitioners and allied dental specialists within the fields of Periodontics, Oral Medicine, Minor Oral Surgery and Dental Implants.
