Referrals for Periodontal Treatment

While a referral from your dentist is certainly very welcome, it is not a legal or health fund requirement. The benefit of having a referral from your dentist is that it provides us with any relevant clinical history or X-rays.

This will help ensure you are booked in with the right specialist for your particular needs. It will also assist with arriving at a clinical diagnosis and selecting the preferred treatment plan.

If you have had periodontal treatment in the past – or know that you are in need of periodontal treatment you can contact our practice directly to arrange a suitable consultation or supportive care appointment.

If you are unsure, you are welcome to ring our friendly office staff to talk through your options.
